Professional Product Specialist (North)
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energetic Professional Product Specialist with a passion for STIHL products to join our expanding Commercial Solutions team.
This role involves promoting and selling our range of professional products. The role requires a self-starter who enjoys engaging with our customers in various settings, from outdoor events to presenting in a board room. Key responsibilities include demonstrating product features, providing expert advice, and building strong customer relationships. You will have a keen interest in battery technology and the development of our products of the future. This position offers the opportunity to combine a love for machinery and the outdoors with a rewarding sales career.
Operating across the North, this role works closely with the Sales team and the dealer network.
What you'll be doing
- Demonstrate STIHL products to dealers, prospects, large end-users and local authorities.
- Liaise directly with relevant teams regarding customer requirements and requests.
- Participate in trade and regional shows to promote STIHL product solutions.
- Develop detailed knowledge of STIHL's battery product range and understand the training requirements.
- Support sales growth in parts and accessories with the pro large end-users.
- Support sales in the commercial market for STIHL Connected.
- Maintain records using sales management system.
About you
- Experience of STIHL products and working in the garden machinery or power tool industry.
- Confident presenter, with the ability to communicate effectively and build commercial relationships.
- Effective time management and planning.
- Self-motivated and target oriented.
- MS Office skills and competent in the use of business systems.
- Driving licence and willingness to travel extensively with nights away.

KEY ACCOUNT Manager – SOUTH EAST
The purpose of this role is to develop and execute the Key Account sales strategy to deliver revenue and unit sales targets and grow market share. As Key Account Manager you will be instrumental in developing new business opportunities within the defined Key Accounts. You will also work closely with our internal team, across departments, to provide an exceptional customer experience, including designing and delivering solutions for Key Account customers.
What you'll be doing
- Achieve or exceed sales targets in all product segments across Key Accounts
- Working strategically to ensure long term sales performance
- Develop standards within the Key Accounts in terms of product knowledge, showroom displays, stocking range. Including development of product experts
- Implement a detailed Key Account business plan for each assigned dealer to clearly demonstrate a solid understanding of their needs and requirements to maximise growth
- To achieve the sales team KPIs as agreed with the Channel Manager OMNI/EBP
- Optimise use of OneCRM
- Compliance with Company Policies
- Work in a manner consistent with best Health and Safety practice
About you
- An experienced sales professional with experience of managing and growing Key Accounts
- The ideal candidate has relevant industry/product experience working with a dealer network
- A strategic mind-set, understanding business needs, and identifying new opportunities and developing business plans
- Ability to align STIHL’s objectives with the customers objectives
- A sound understanding of on-line selling and other sales channels
- Strong project management skills
- Experience of bringing together multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions for customers.
- The ability to drive change – solution based thinking
- Home location within the territory
- Full driving licence and willing to travel extensively including nights away

Territory Sales Manager (2 Roles)
Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland
A rare opportunity to shape a market from the ground up.
As part of a strategic transformation, STIHL is moving from a distributor model to becoming a direct supplier to customers across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
This transition creates two newly established Territory Sales Manager roles, offering the opportunity to build meaningful commercial relationships in a valued market.
These are high-impact, field-based roles suited to commercially astute sales professionals who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Opportunity
As Territory Sales Manager, you will play a central role in launching STIHL’s direct-to-market approach across your region. You will combine commercial insight, structured planning and relationship-building skills to assess, prioritise and grow the territory.
You will be instrumental in inspiring STIHL dealers to drive engagement and maximise their potential.
What you'll be doing
- Visit potential STIHL dealers to understand their perception of STIHL and assess each customer’s commercial value and growth potential
- Act as a key member of the market launch team, helping to successfully transition from distributor to direct supply
- Develop a comprehensive regional business plan, forecasting sales by customer and product segment
- Drive sales growth by achieving agreed revenue and performance targets
- Deliver product training and in-store merchandising support, both personally and in collaboration with specialist colleagues
- Build strong, sustainable partnerships with dealers, positioning STIHL as their supplier of choice
- Monitor performance and provide regular reporting against objectives and targets
About you
- Proven track record in field-based sales, territory management or account development
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with experience building business plans and forecasting
- Skilled at influencing and building long-term customer relationships
- Comfortable working autonomously in a newly created role
- Resilient, structured and results-driven
- Experience within tools, machinery, agricultural, hardware or related sectors would be advantageous
